How You Can Help Our School
St. Joseph Catholic School is a small parish supported school where the children of our parishioners are able to attend without the burden of high tuition costs normally associated with a private education. We are truly blessed. The families and children of the parish are the beneficiaries of the generosity and commitment of the parishioners of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
As such, our needs are many. Below are some ways that you can help St. Joseph Catholic School through direct donations, donations of time or resources and by participating in some fundraising activities that can directly benefit St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
Donations of Time and Talent
At St. Joseph Catholic School there are many ways that you can help the school by giving of your time. There are, of course, the usual things like volunteering as a room parent, or driving students on field trips. In addition we have need for parents or grandparents to assist in the lunchroom or with other duties around the school.
St. Joseph Catholic School has no janitorial staff. School cleaning and maintenance is done on a volunteer basis by the families of our students.
There are opportunities to serve on committees for our Bingo Night Fundraiser, the School Council or with the Home and School Association.

In order to volunteer for some positions at the school, you may be required to complete Virtus Training. Virtus Training is provided at scheduled times throughout the year by the Catholic Diocese of Wichita. Contact us to find out about current openings or specific needs where you could donate your time and talent.
Monetary Donations - Donations of Supplies or Resources
The school seems to always have need for supplies and resources. Whether it be cleaning supplies, materials, or books for the library, the list seems almost endless.
Donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated.

Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education is a program that you can easily participate in. You can simply clip box tops from hundreds of products you probably already use, and turn them in at the school office. Every box top clipped and sent to the school helps us earn credit toward purchasing supplies for the school. Parents, grandparents, friends, extended family and co-workers can all help collect and contribute box tops for St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
You can also earn eBox tops when you shop online at over 100 participating retailers.
How you can Help:
Collect and bundle Box Tops to turn in at the main submission times, in October and February. (You can of course bring your box tops to the school office at any time during the school year).
Put a Box Tops collection bin at your workplace or any place you frequent or regularly spend time.
Get friends and family members to contribute by collecting box tops and signing up for Box Tops online. No matter where they live, they can help make a difference for our school!

The Target Red Card® – Take Charge of Education
We have another terrific way that you can help raise funds for our school. If you shop at Target stores and use a Target Credit Card®, Target Debit Card® or
Target® Visa® Credit Card, we will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of an annual check from Target through the
Take Charge of Education® program.
Target stores tracks purchases made by participating Red Card holders, and then sends a no-strings attached donation directly to the school. Checks are distributed once a year. Target Debit Cards and Target Business Cards are eligible for the Take Charge of Education program as well.
Track our progress online.
If you're not already taking part, please consider doing so - grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors can help, too.
If you would like to participate in Take Charge of Education but prefer an option that doesn't involve credit cards, you can choose the Target Debit Card. It links directly to an existing checking account, with all of the ongoing rewards of a REDcard credit account.
