How You Can Help Our School
St. Joseph Catholic School is a small parish supported school where the children of our parishioners are able to attend without the burden of high tuition costs normally associated with a private education. We are truly blessed. The families and children of the parish are the beneficiaries of the generosity and commitment of the parishioners of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
As such, our needs are many. Below are some ways that you can help St. Joseph Catholic School through direct donations, donations of time or resources and by participating in some fundraising activities that can directly benefit St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
Donations of Time and Talent
At St. Joseph Catholic School there are many ways that you can help the school by giving of your time. There are, of course, the usual things like volunteering as a room parent, or driving students on field trips. In addition, we have need for parents or grandparents to assist in the lunchroom or with other duties around the school.
St. Joseph Catholic School has no janitorial staff. School cleaning and maintenance is done on a volunteer basis by the families of our students.
There are opportunities to serve on committees for our Bingo Night Fundraiser, the School Council or with the Home and School Association. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to see what opportunities are currently available.
In order to volunteer for some positions at the school, you may be required to complete Virtus Training. Virtus Training is provided at scheduled times throughout the year by the Catholic Diocese of Wichita. Contact us to find out about current openings or specific needs where you could donate your time and talent.
